Things to see and do in Northumberland County (www.northumberlandtourism.com)

There is something for everyone in Northumberland County.  Cobblestone Farm is only minutes away from Lake Ontario and Cobourg's incredible Victoria Park beach.  You can relax on the beach, tour the marina or take in some shopping downtown.  If you prefer to explore the water by boat, Rice Lake is only 15 minutes north of the farm and there are a number of boat rentals available.

If hiking or nature walks are more your speed, Cobblestone Farm sits between two incredible forests:  The Ganaraska Forest and The Northumberland Forest.  There are even trails specifically designed for equestrians with ample trailer parking.

Just a short drive away

The list of things you can do in and around Northumberland is endless but if you do feel like a drive, there is even more to do.  Picton and the wine district of Prince Edward County is only about an hour from Cobblestone Farm.  There you will find a wide variety of wineries as well as incredible restaurants.  After your exciting day trip, you can plan to take in some of the arts culture on your way home at Westben, one of Ontario's most beautiful outdoor concert venues.
